toe nails

I realized today I needed to paint my toe nails. I think it might actually start being warm here. I brought my polish outside to where the kids were playing. Every one immediately had to inspect what I was doing. I painted Emma's toenails for the first time. Ryan promptly took off his socks and shoes and put his feet in my lap. He kept saying, "toes, toes, toes". How do you explain to a 2 yr old little boy that toe nail polish is just for girls. Peter finally distracted him and he forgot about it!
