Although it didn't make the favorite's list, flying kites was a fun thing we did. When Philip was growing up his family would vacation at Myrtle Beach in the summer for a week. They really got into kite flying. I've heard that they would enter tournaments and knew how to fly stunt kites. Poppa brought up some kites and we hit the field beside us shortly after their arrival. The wind wasn't that cooperative but we had fun trying!
