Caedom's Call

The concert finally got here! After being rained out due to Hurricane Hannah and with the threat of rain yesterday, I wasn't sure what would happened. They moved the concert inside to Cameron and we had a great time. It Duke Youth day so there were lots of youth groups there. For some reason, the youth thought it was better to sit upstairs so that left lots of good seats on the bleachers. We snagged some space on the front row! The kids danced around a bit while the band played.
Philip got a chance to meet with the lead singer, Cliff. Philip apologized for the mass exodus of youth that kept leaving throughout the concert. It was really the strangest thing and made me feel really old! I would have loved an encore but everyone was up as soon as the last note was played. Cliff said, that the youth of today aren't really into their band because they have a more folk style than rock-n-roll. If it wasn't for Caedmon's story with Duke they would have turned down the offer to play at Youth Day.
